IYPT - Basic Info
The acronym IYPT stands for International Young Physicists' Tournament.
The IYPT, sometimes also referred to as "Physics World Cup"
is a team-oriented scientific competition among teams of secondary school students.
At this tournament the participating students present and discuss their solutions to scientific
problems which they have prepared over a period of about eight to ten months.
The presentation as well as the defense in the discussion is graded by a jury consisting of
international experts.
